Early Years Teaching Asssistant in Codsall

Overview

Due to rising numbers in our Early years setting, St Nicholas CE First School is looking to appoint two highly effective part time Teaching Assistants to join the current enthusiastic and hardworking team. The post is to support the very skilled, Early years team to ensure the Nursery pupils access the highest quality provision and early development opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Early years team to ensure Nursery pupils access high quality provision and early development opportunities.
• Contribute to a child’s learning journey through observation and assessment, using Development Matters, Characteristics of Effective Learning.
• Utilise effective organisational and communication skills in day-to-day practice.
• Be adaptable and creative, making learning fun, and commit to giving the best to every child.
• Make a significant contribution to the school with a clear passion and love for working with EYFS pupils.

Details

• Work Pattern: Hours 8:15am – 3:45pm, 1 hour for lunch (32.5 hours per week) Monday – Friday
• Contract end date: 17th July 2026
• Candidates will be required to hold a full and relevant Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or other relevant qualification
