Job Details
Codsall High is a comprehensive school for students in Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi‑rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and more than two hundred in its successful sixth form.

Geography is a popular choice at the school as a GCSE option and also an A Level.
The current post holder has secured an exciting new role building on their work at Codsall and we are therefore looking for a dynamic and inspirational teacher to join our school in January 2027 (or earlier if possible).
Qualifications and Experience
The ability to teach GCSE Geography is essential. This post provides the opportunity to teach A Level Geography.
The post would suit a recently Qualified Teacher at the early stage of their career or an experienced Teacher who would like to join a successful school.
Responsibilities
- Teach GCSE Geography to students in Years 9–10.
- Teach A Level Geography to students in Years 12–13.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons and assessments.
- Collaborate with the Geography Department to support professional development.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular and curriculum development where relevant.
