Join our Engineering team as a Facilities Engineer at our Nottingham early phase development site to play a crucial role in ensuring that utilities and the infrastructure and assets are maintained in accordance with GMP regulations.

A rare opportunity to join a maintenance team on a days-based role Monday to Friday, with no requirement for shift work or ‘on-call’.

  • Please note this role is based 100% at our newly acquired site in Nottingham (NG8)
  • Your Responsibilities

You will

  • Work in adherence to the maintenance plan to ensure planned preventative maintenance is carried out in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
  • Assess equipment maintenance requirements and formulate into job plans / work instructions.
  • Carry out corrective maintenance as required.
  • Perform changes in accordance with SOPs and the change control procedure.
  • Participation in audits and the close out of audit actions.
  • Development of SOPs.
  • Our Requirements
  • Proven experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a GMP manufacturing environment, from a pharmaceutical or CDMO background is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficient (excellent) in English verbal and written communication skills to convey and receive ideas and instructions to/from others within and outside the organization
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access).
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Enthusiastic and passionate about pharmaceutical manufacture.
  • Have a high attention to detail.
