With the rise of AI, ensuring accurate candidate assessment and skill validation for internal teams is more critical than ever. Our mission is to empower companies to hire the best technical talent and understand their internal skillsets, providing a robust interviewing platform that eliminates misrepresentation risks and prepares them for a positive future.
We’re looking for a highly skilled and technically confident Account Executive to join our sales team. In this pivotal role, you will own new business opportunities from creating qualified pipeline through to close, working with Sales, Marketing and Leadership to drive net-new logos and build long-term customer value. You will work net-new opportunities with some of the most innovative tech, e-commerce, and financial organisations in the world. With quick deal cycles, and strong inbound and outbound motions, this is the perfect opportunity to continue your successful sales career.
If you excel with both technical and non-technical buyers, and have a passion for AI transformation, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- As an Account Executive, you will work within a defined territory and be the primary driver for new business acquisition.
- Own the full sales cycle for your Mid-Market territory, with a focus on hitting new business ARR targets and building healthy pipeline coverage (3x coverage).
- Act as a trusted advisor, confident discussing technical hiring challenges and recommending relevant solutions and workflows.
- Run deep discovery conversations that go beyond surface-level pain, diagnosing real inefficiencies, quantifying impact and building credible business cases.
- Navigate multi-stakeholder buying groups across Talent and Engineering, identifying economic buyers early and multi-threading effectively.
- Use SPICED / MEDDPICC consistently to qualify opportunities, manage risk and progress deals with clear next steps.
- Partner cross-functionally on targeted outbound, building focused account lists and using hiring data and market signals intelligently.
- Manage pilots and proof-of-value engagements carefully, ensuring strong outcomes that de-risk the purchase decision.
- Maintain clean Salesforce hygiene and commit responsibly to forecast.
- Collaborate with leadership, marketing and product to refine messaging, improve sales plays and advocate for customer needs.
- Stay informed about new product capabilities, competitive positioning and best practices to sharpen your commercial conversations.
- Serve as the voice of the prospect internally, championing improvements across how we sell and what we deliver.
Your profile
- You're an experienced sales professional who can confidently navigate both commercial and technical conversations.
- You understand technical hiring challenges well enough to build business cases and facilitate discovery without relying on Solutions Engineering for standard product discussions.
- Minimum of 3 years in a closing role within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Proven track record closing deals up to a total of $500k ARR, and can demonstrate success in hitting a $750k+ annual target.
- Comfortable discussing hiring workflows, technical assessment challenges and engineering team dynamics with talent and engineering stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to quantify inefficiencies (time-to-hire, interviewer load, cost of bad hires) and translate them into measurable business impact.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for varied audiences.
- Highly organised, with strong pipeline management skills and the ability to manage multiple deals and stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Solutions-oriented, demonstrating ownership and proactive deal progression.
- Experienced with structured qualification frameworks (MEDDPICC / SPICED or similar) and disciplined forecasting.
- A collaborative teammate who works effectively within your own team and cross-functionally.
- Experience selling developer tools.
