Two Full-time, permanent Housing Floating Support workers to join our Floating Support team, HS Newport Newid, in Newport. You will predominantly work office hours although flexibility is required to meet the needs of our customers.

About the role: Please note that this role does not involve any aspect of care or personal care. This is a Floating Support Worker role based in Newport. You will provide housing-related support to individuals aged 18 and over who are either struggling to maintain their tenancy, are at risk of homelessness, or are currently experiencing homelessness.
Day to day duties:
- Managing your own caseload and electronic diary
- Travelling to customers' homes to deliver housing related support
- Supporting individuals to access housing options
- Providing resettlement support, including setting up tenancies, arranging utilities, and registering with health services
- Completing grant applications
- Completing referral forms
- Supporting individuals to maximise their income, ensure appropriate benefits are in place, and receive support with debt management, budgeting, and setting up sustainable repayment arrangements
- Liaising with landlords
- Working closely with other agencies and professionals to ensure customers’ support needs are met
