Ty Ynysawdre is an Extra Care scheme with 25 self-contained apartments for over 65s with care or support needs that blends the freedom of independent living with the reassurance of on-site support. There are also 15 residential beds. This role is all about creating a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our tenants, helping them feel truly at home. Skills And Experience Needed
- Great communicator: You’ll work closely with the Service Manager and tenants; being friendly and approachable is a must.
- Team player: Positive, supportive, and inclusive attitude towards colleagues and tenants.
- Attention to detail: Store and use cleaning materials in line with the Homes COSHH policy, using only approved cleaning products for each task.
- Organisational Skills: Clean and maintain all rooms and shared spaces across the building efficiently.
- Independent & Customer-Focused: Ability to work independently without supervision, using initiative to complete tasks efficiently while being committed to providing a high-quality service.

Pay and Pensions
- Annual salary of £24,655 (FTE)
- Pension Choices:
- Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%
- Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
Time off and Flexibility
- 26 days holiday, pro rata entitlement. Rising to 27 days after 1 year’s service or cash equivalent of 1 day annual leave.
