Overview: This is a Scheme Support Officer role based in our Supported Housing Service, Dyfrig House, Cardiff. Working alongside the Manager, we have a team of an Accommodation Coordinator, Lead Project Worker, Project Workers & Scheme Support Officers, providing 24/7 support to our diverse group of customers. You will provide support to homeless people who are looking to address their problematic alcohol and substance use issues. Some of the individuals we support have been involved in the criminal justice system. Working and engaging with treatment services as well as local recovery services, the mission is to provide housing-related support for independence and to make positive life changes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide housing-related support to individuals to promote independence and positive life changes.
- Work with treatment services and local recovery services to support service users.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver 24/7 support within the scheme’s operations.
Skills and Experience:
- Relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential.
- A Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is essential (Dyfrig House operates between Cardiff Central and Newport Road).

Pay and Pensions:
- £24,531.00 FTE (£12.75 per hour)
- Sleep-in rate: £62.64 per 8 hour shift
