We are seeking patient, compassionate, and positive women to join our team at our Supported Living service in Blackwood, providing essential support to individuals with physical and learning disabilities. This 16‑hour permanent position includes optional waking night or sleep‑in shifts and operates 24/7.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person‑centered support for day‑to‑day activities and independence of residents.
- Personal care, including showering, bathing, brushing teeth, and continence care.
- Assist with mobility, use of hoists and wheelchairs.
- Support dietary needs and food preparation.
- Offer emotional support.
- Complete cleaning and administrative tasks.
- Administer and manage medication, monitor medication stocks and finances.
- Bring innovative ideas to improve team practices.
- Work a rotating rota that ensures consistent support; flexibility with shifts is essential.
Qualifications and Experience
- Background working with people with physical or mental health needs (full training provided).
- Experience working as part of a team and customer service skills.
- IT, literacy, and numeracy skills.
- Biological female applicant only.
- Full UK manual driving licence (required for driving mobility vehicles).

Pay and Pensions
- £25,877 (£13.45 per hour) for 16‑hour shift.
- Sleep‑in rate: £62.64 per 8‑hour shift (~1 per week).
- Waking night rate: 20% enhancement from 11 pm to 7 am.
