Our client, a world-leading consulting firm, is seeking a Chief Data Architect to drive the design and implementation of data architecture and cloud solutions for public sector clients. The role focuses on data management , governance , and cyber security , with a mandate to lead the establishment of a Chief Data Officer (CDO) office and implement a comprehensive data strategy.
Role Overview
As Chief Data Architect , you will lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge data architectures, focusing on cloud solutions, data management, governance, and cyber-security. You will work closely with public sector clients to ensure data strategies align with organizational goals and industry best practices. Your role will be critical in driving organizational change, breaking down data silos, and fostering a standardized data ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Establishing a CDO Office : Spearhead the creation of a Chief Data Officer (CDO) office, driving the vision for data governance and strategy.
- Data Architecture Strategy : Define, maintain, and implement a comprehensive data architecture strategy and blueprint for master data management.
- Use Case Delivery : Deliver one or two key use cases to demonstrate the value of strategic data initiatives.
- Data Risk Mitigation : Develop a data segmentation and risk mitigation framework to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and security.
- Data Discovery & Management : Build capabilities to enhance data discovery and ensure robust data management across the organization.

Essential Skills & Experience
- Cloud & Data Management Expertise : Proven experience in cloud architecture, data governance, and cyber-security, especially within the public sector.
