We are looking for a motivated Field Services Engineer to support a large-scale IT device refresh programme. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1β2 years of IT support experience who enjoys providing hands-on technical support, resolving user issues, and delivering outstanding customer service. You'll be responsible for supporting end-user computing devices, workplace technologies, and associated IT services while working in a fast-paced onsite environment.
Location: Edinburgh (Onsite)
Contract: 6 Months Fixed-Term Contract (Initial)
IR35: Inside IR35
Security Clearance: UK National (Q1 Clearance Required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop devices.
- Support a large-scale device refresh programme.
- Provide onsite technical support for end users.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Support Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral devices.
- Provide basic Active Directory administration.
- Assist with onsite data centre 'hands and eyes' support.
- Record and manage incidents using IT Service Management tools.
- Deliver excellent customer service while meeting agreed SLAs.
