About the role

The ERP Business Development Manager (Midmarket) is responsible for selling cloud-based ERP software solutions, consultancy, and managed services predominantly to net new name clients. This role is specifically focused on selling SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and associated SAP offerings.

This customer-facing role is supported by Technical Presales, Marketing, and Account Management teams to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Executing new prospect first meeting engagements, demos, presentations, and workshops.
  • Conducting prospect white space profiling and requirements gathering.
  • Delivering software demonstrations.
  • Producing sales documents, including budgetary proposals, statements of work, master services agreements, and other necessary materials.
  • Understanding and effectively presenting the Codestone value proposition.
  • Completing RFIs/ITTs and coordinating bids.
  • Maintaining and growing customer relationships.
  • Promoting a culture of customer value to ensure long-term success.
  • Liaising and providing feedback to Internal Sales, Account Management, and Marketing teams.
  • Prospecting within the existing client base.
  • Collaborating with marketing to generate new opportunities for the business.
  • Achieving all sales targets and KPIs.

  • Demonstrable history of successfully selling ERP systems to the midmarket or enterprise (not SME)
  • Fit-to-standard ERP sales is a significant advantage
  • Strong finance knowledge required (accounting qualification an advantage)
  • Managed Service sales experience an advantage.
