About the Role

The Sales Enablement Manager ensures every system, process and behaviour in the commercial function supports revenue generation.

Acting as the interface between Commercial Leadership and Revenue Operations, the role translates commercial strategy into Hub Spot requirements and governance, and builds the enablement engine - content, messaging alignment and training - that improves consistency, capability and performance across the sales team.

Success is measured in adoption, data quality, pipeline velocity and win-rate improvement.

  • Locations
  • Poole, London, Basingstoke - Hybrid
  • What You'll Be Doing
  • Own Hub Spot sales governance - translate commercial strategy into system requirements, workflows and reporting; prioritise builds and manage change control in partnership with Revenue Operations.
  • Drive CRM adoption and data hygiene - define standards for activity capture, stage discipline and field completion; coach the sales team on the reasons behind them; monitor compliance and drive sustained improvement in pipeline and data quality.
  • Lead enablement content and messaging alignment - establish and maintain a single source of truth for decks, pitches, RFP source information and sales collateral, with clear governance to keep it consistent and current.
  • Deliver marketing-to-sales integration - translate campaigns into defined sales plays and measurable selling behaviours, ensuring automations support rather than obstruct the sales motion.
  • Design and deliver sales training - build onboarding and continuous learning programmes in partnership with L&D and Presales, increasing seller self-sufficiency and reducing presales dependency per deal.
  • Champion AI innovation - identify, prioritise and deliver AI use cases across the sales enablement workflow, from CRM automation to content generation and coaching, and demonstrate visible commitment to AI-enabled ways of working in day-to-day delivery.
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders - align Commercial Leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Presales and L&D behind a coherent enablement roadmap.
  • Prioritise on revenue impact - sequence enablement work based on measurable effect on conversion, velocity and win rate, and report on enablement effectiveness against agreed success measures.
  • Gatekeep system change - assess, prioritise and, where necessary, push back on proposed Hub Spot changes to protect sales process discipline and reporting integrity.
  • What You'll Bring
  • Proven sales enablement experience with a Revenue Operations partnership dimension - enablement that demonstrably changed seller behaviour, not just produced content.
  • Hub Spot CRM capability through a sales lens - able to specify requirements, influence configuration and govern change (hands‑on administration not required).
  • Strong command of sales process and pipeline discipline - stages, activities, forecasting inputs and a clear definition of what good looks like.
  • Track record of driving adoption and data quality through coaching and accountability rather than mandate alone.
  • Confident cross-functional stakeholder management across Commercial Leadership, Revenue Operations, Marketing, Presales and L&D.
  • Experience aligning enablement content and messaging - decks, pitches, RFP source information - under clear collateral governance.
  • Experience designing and rolling out sales training, spanning onboarding and continuous learning, that builds seller self-sufficiency.
  • A revenue impact mindset - prioritises work by measurable effect on conversion, velocity and win rate.
  • Hands‑on Hub Spot administration (workflows, properties, objects, reporting).
  • Experience in consulting, professional services or enterprise software sales motions.
  • Exposure to GTM or campaign operations and marketing automation.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies (e. g. MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger) and their application in CRM and enablement.
  • Experience building RFP libraries or knowledge bases with content governance.
  • BI/MI tooling beyond Hub Spot (e. g. Power BI).
  • What Makes You Successful
  • Accountability & Ownership - drives outcomes end‑to‑end without direct line authority; holds self and others to agreed standards.
  • Results Orientation - relentlessly focused on measurable commercial impact over activity for its own sake.
  • Communication - makes the complex simple; lands the 'why' with sellers and writes requirements operations teams can act on.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork - aligns functions with competing priorities behind shared commercial goals.
  • Problem Solving & Critical Thinking - diagnoses friction in the sales process using data and acts on the root cause.
  • Adaptability & Agility - adjusts priorities as the business evolves and corrects course quicky when the data says so.
  • Customer Focus - treats the sales team as the customer of enablement; builds what sellers will actually use.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement - iterates on tooling, content and training, and commits to practical AI‑enabled ways of working.
