Business Development – Financial Solutions (UK) Department: Sales Employment Type: Full Time Location: UK Description As we continue to experience explosive growth, Codec is currently seeking a driven and self-motivated Business Development Executive for our Financial Solutions Business to join our growing ERP & EPM organization. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in the UK and Ireland across all industries. You will play a crucial role in growing our organization by finding new opportunities, researching leads, establishing relationships, and acquiring new customers. The ideal candidate excels in a high-energy environment, is relentless, focused, and knows what it takes to stay competitive. You will ideally have a background in selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Azure, but experience in account management & business development within an IT solutions and/or services provider, or experience in finance functions, would also be considered. This role is hybrid based in the UK with occasional travel. Key Responsibilities Assist with the sales strategy of the ERP & EPM Practices. Grow the pipelines through marketing and sales. Initiate strategic opportunities at large accounts and own the sales cycle for the same. Manage the Business Development activity to develop and execute a strong business development plan through market planning, account planning, marketing strategies, and account management resulting in tangible and measurable success. Build strong personal and trusting relationships with clients, consulting, and providing expert advice that will result in tailored solutions to clients. Manage the preparation, presentation, and negotiation of client proposals and solutions, including the provision of effort estimates and costings for full solution implementations, also working closely with the bid team to deliver world-class bids and proposals to customers. Drive the cross-selling engagement to maximize the Financial Systems penetration across the Codec base of customers. Maintain a “Trusted Advisor” relationship with the customer and identify opportunities for further project work. Act as a key point of contact for our vendor partners. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 7+ years of selling Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / NAV to SMB and enterprise customers. Knowledge of EPM & ERP solutions to a level where the benefits can be clearly communicated. Strong communication skills; strong selling, negotiating, and closing skills. Proven sales experience and capabilities. Ability to turn customer problems into opportunities. Knowledge of the wider Microsoft stack, Solver, and EPM technologies is advantageous.
