We are recruiting a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Technology function on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll design, build and secure our cloud platforms and delivery pipelines. You’ll embed security into how our teams build and run software, automate controls wherever possible, and help improve our overall security posture. You’ll also support and mentor junior engineers, helping to grow strong DevSecOps capability across the business.
What you’ll do:
- Design, build and secure AWS cloud environments using security best practice
- Create and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Secure Kubernetes platforms, including clusters, workloads, networking and secrets
- Embed security controls into CI/CD pipelines
- Automate security controls and fixes to reduce manual work
- Work with engineering teams to fix vulnerabilities at pace
- Operate and improve cloud security tooling, including Wiz
- Support audits, threat modelling and security reviews
- Mentor junior DevSecOps engineers and support skill development
Qualifications
What we’d love you to bring:
- Strong hands-on experience in DevSecOps, cloud security, or platform security
- Practical experience with AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes security
- Knowledge of CI/CD security tools such as SAST, DAST, SCA and secret scanning
- Experience automating security using scripts, pipelines or APIs
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms such as Wiz (or similar)
- A solid understanding of secure software delivery and DevOps ways of working
- A collaborative mindset, with a passion for mentoring and improving how teams work
