Code Unique is hiring a Lead Systems Engineer to build a new infrastructure-scale control system from the ground up. This is a foundational engineering role with direct involvement in system architecture, execution integrity, and long-term technical direction.
We are looking for an engineer with proven experience building complex systems where correctness, coordination, reliability, and structural integrity are critical. The system is designed to maintain coherent operational reality under conditions of concurrency, failure, and irreversible consequence propagation.
You should be comfortable working across distributed systems, backend and infrastructure architecture, deterministic execution, stateful system design, and reliability under failure conditions. Strong experience building production-grade systems around modern AI/LLM infrastructure is required. This is not an AI application layer role. The intelligence layer operates inside a larger deterministic control architecture where reliability, coherence, and execution integrity are critical.
We are looking for someone who can think clearly, build deliberately, communicate directly, and maintain high technical standards under ambiguity and pressure. You will work directly with the founder and play a defining role in the build and direction of the system.
UK-based only. London preferred. Strong financial package with significant long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Please send your CV with a short email cover note to studio@codeunique.co.uk.
