A new opportunity has arisen for a Lead Geo-Environmental professional to join a well-established consultancy based in central Manchester. This opening offers the chance to lead high-profile commercial and infrastructure projects while working alongside a small team of contaminated land and geotechnical specialists.
The successful professional will take ownership of delivering and managing a wide range of ground investigation and contaminated land projects across the region and play a key role in both technical delivery and team leadership, with scope to further develop the geotechnical side of the business as the consultancy continues to grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing Phase 1 desk studies
- Overseeing interpretative reporting
- Reviewing and completing DQRA work
- Supervising sites
- Managing programmes and budgets
- Acting as a main point of contact for the firm’s clients
You will also have the opportunity to support and mentor junior staff as the team makes progress. This is a varied position, combining office-based technical work with site and client-facing responsibilities.
