We are recruiting a Principal Structural Engineer on behalf of an established multi-disciplinary consultancy in Manchester. They have very established structural teams in Edinburgh and London and are growing the Manchester team with established business and projects to own and manage and a long-term growth plan.
You will join the structural director as his number 2 with a view to take on 2 more engineers in the next 12 months. As Principal Structural Engineer you will be managing 7 or 8 projects from day one across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, leisure, and heritage from 1 to 10 million. The business is growing rapidly.

About you and the role:
- You will be an experienced structural design professional with 7 years+ experience in managing medium/large structural projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed to time and budget and of quality.
- Managing clients and delivering projects.
- Leading and mentoring engineers as the team grows.
- Ideally chartered or close to being chartered.
