Support Senior/Associate Engineers in delivering robust electrical designs and documentation with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce electrical designs, calculations, drawings, reports, specs, and schedules
- Assist Senior/Associate Engineers and management
- Comply with Building Regulations, legislation, and industry standards
- Contribute to sustainable design and environmental assessments (e.g. BREEAM)
- Perform site inspections and witness testing/commissioning
- Mentor trainee engineers
- Work effectively to project deadlines and QA systems
Education & Experience:
- Preferably BEng (Hons) in Building Services/Electrical Engineering
- Minimum HNC/HND or equivalent
- Working toward CIBSE/IET Chartership or equivalent
- Proficient in Amtech, Relux, Dialux, AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Able to conduct surveys and plant area spatial planning
- Keep up-to-date with industry developments
- Attend and contribute to design/project meetings
- Good numeracy, literacy, computing, and time management skills
- Team-oriented approach
- Progressing toward Chartership and CPD
- Quality-checking work of junior staff
- Liaising with engineers to ensure quality and programme delivery
