Associate/Principal Electrical Engineer – Building Services (Healthcare)

Location: Manchester or Leeds

70 000 – 75 000 K

We are expanding our team following recent project wins, particularly in the healthcare sector. We areseeking an experienced Associate or Principal Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver medium to large-scale building services projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver electrical design on major projects
  • Oversee project finances, programmes, and resources
  • Lead and support a small team of engineers
  • Guide and develop junior and graduate engineers
  • Prepare technical specifications, design calculations, and fee estimates
  • Participate in quality control and interdisciplinary reviews
  • Liaise directly with clients to define project requirements
  • Apply BIM and electrical design software effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in electrical building services design
  • Previous experience as an Associate or Principal Engineer
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Member of IET or similar professional body
  • Skilled in BIM and relevant design software
  • Healthcare project experience preferred
