We are recruiting an experienced structural engineer on behalf of a well-established and boutique civil structural engineering consultancy near Piccadilly Gardens in Manchester. Having recently moved into beautiful offices with approximately 17 staff in the Manchester office, they work on a mix of projects across numerous sectors and have strong partnerships with contractors and architects. You will truly work on some exceptional projects in a range of sectors including residential, commercial, heritage, education, and leisure.
As a Structural Engineer, we are looking for someone with 4+ years of experience designing a mix of structural projects, both small and large, in numerous sectors. Ideally, you should be on a chartership plan and looking to become chartered. This role will develop into a senior structural engineer position over time, and you will be supported by associates and senior engineers to achieve this. This position will suit a competent structural engineer approaching senior level who is looking for a truly engaging consultancy that will develop you and enhance your skills as an engineer.

About you and the role:
- You will be experienced in designing a range of building projects with ideally 4 to 5 years of experience.
- You will be part of a very experienced team of engineers of all levels and will receive good support and mentorship to become a senior engineer.
- You should have used design software such as TSD, Tedds, Etabs, Masterseries, etc.
- Ideally, you will be on a chartership plan on the way to chartership.
