Senior Civil Design Engineer (infrastructure/drainage/highway) Manchester (hybrid working 2 or 3 days from home) c£48k – 57k + bonus + package We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client a well established multi disciplinary consultancy in an exciting period of growth to deliver innovative client solutions as part of an established civils team. As a Senior Engineer, you will bring experience in civil engineering design and project coordination. As Senior Civil Engineer yoiu will be part of a team delivering multi-disciplinary consultancy and specialist technical services on a range of projects ( some exceeding £500 million), with expertise in highways, pavements, bridges, earthworks, remediation, utilities, flood alleviation, SuDS, pumping stations, sewerage systems, external works and highway and drainage agreements, including S278, S38 and S104. Whats on offer Salary c48k-57k DOE Bonus Hybrid working Inclusive and supportive culture with good training and progression opportunity About the role and you * Leading project teams * Produce Flood Risk Assessments (FRA’s), Drainage Strategies and other pre-planning advice * Experience in producing earthworks cut and fill assessments * A good understanding of section 38, 278 (Highways Act) and section 104, 106 and 185 (Water industry Act) agreementsEffective communication with statutory bodies (such as Local Planning Authority, Lead Local Flood Authority, Highways, Environment Agency, etc.) to agree solutions in the best interests of our clients * Experience with designing a wide range of projects from concept through to completion (including calculations, drawings and specifications) * You should be familiar with softwares such as Civil 3D,Infodrainage, Causeway Flow/Microdrainage Please send your cv now for immediate consideration or call for more info
