An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced CAD / Revit professional to join a well-established engineering consultancy with around 30 engineers across two UK offices. Working on projects through to RIBA Stage 5, this is a design-focused role rather than a modelling position and would suit someone with around 5+ years' experience using AutoCAD and Revit who enjoys mentoring others and wants to take on greater responsibility within a leadership role.

The Role

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of 4 CAD/Revit professionals
  • Ensure high-quality drawings and technical information are delivered on time and to the required standards
  • Support and train junior team members, helping them develop their technical capabilities
  • Manage workloads, maintain drawing standards and drive continuous improvement across the team
  • Work closely with engineers and project teams on a diverse range of projects delivered through to RIBA Stage 5
  • Lead by example and promote a culture of quality, professionalism, teamwork and commitment

Requirements

  • Strong AutoCAD and Revit experience within a design environment
  • Approximately 5+ years' relevant industry experience
  • A passion for coaching and developing junior staff
  • Excellent communication, organisational and leadership skills
  • Previous management experience beneficial but not essential as training can be provided

Package & Benefits

  • Salary £40,000 - £45,000
  • Up to £4,000 per annum in performance-related bonuses
