Our client, an established and respected civil structural consultancy, is recruiting a highway engineer due to continued and sustained growth to be based out of the Manchester offices. As a Highways Engineer, you will be working as part of a team on the design of some interesting civil projects in both the public and private sectors, medium and large schemes.
As a Highway Engineer, you will be working in a friendly and relaxed collaborative work environment with a team of very experienced and chartered engineers, to share ideas and be supported and learn from. The role offers hybrid working to fit into your lifestyle (2 days from home).

About You and the role:
- A key focus will be providing technical expertise and managing highway projects, from feasibility and inception through to detailed design.
- Ideally, you will have 4 years+ highway design experience.
- Some experience of drainage design would be nice but not essential.
- You will be experienced with software such as Civils3D, AutoCAD or similar design software (microdrainage/flow etc. a bonus).
- Senior role would include mentoring more junior engineers and leading projects.
