The Role
The Regional Partnerships Manager role is a dynamic and strategic business development role, responsible for driving business growth and revenue expansion establishing Code Institute as a key player within local education and skills ecosystems. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the regional education ecosystem, working closely with FE Colleges, employers, and Government agencies to position our courses effectively and achieve business objectives. In this role, you will equally focus on new business development and account management. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing team in a very ambitious EdTech company, with a strong emphasis on new business development and strategic growth initiatives.
At the moment, we are looking for a Regional Partnerships Manager for the North West.
Responsibilities
Market Engagement & Analysis :
- Conduct thorough research on local market trends, skills requirements, and economic drivers within the assigned territory.
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders, including FE Colleges, Institutes of Technology, Combined Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, and Local Enterprise Partnerships.
Business Development with FE Colleges :
- Establish and nurture relationships with high-quality FE Colleges, focusing on developing supercentres that deliver a range of our courses, including Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications, bootcamps, and future products.
- Ensure successful delivery and expansion of our product offerings within these institutions.
Corporate Sales & Employer Engagement :
- Develop strategies to engage with local employers, promoting our short-form courses and part-time bootcamps as solutions to their workforce development needs.
- Achieve corporate sales targets through tailored solutions that align with employer requirements.
Strategic Partnership Development :
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with Institutes of Technology, Combined Authorities, Chambers of Commerce, and Local Enterprise Partnerships to support regional skills strategies and economic development plans.
- Collaborate on joint initiatives that drive employer engagement and training program success.
Product Positioning & Promotion :
- Work with marketing and product teams to tailor offerings to meet local market demands, leveraging the company\’s status as an Ofsted-approved supplier.
- Promote brand awareness and market penetration within the territory through targeted campaigns and events.
Thought Leadership & Industry Engagement :
- Represent Code Institute at industry events, webinars, and on social media, positioning the company as a thought leader in the education and skills training sector.
- Respond to requests for participation in external events and contribute content to industry publications.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in business development within the education, training, or skills sector.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of the UK\’s Further Education sector, skills funding, and regional economic development.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including educators, employers, and government bodies.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align business objectives with market opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel regularly within the territory.
- Candidates have to be based in the UK (North West of England)
- Successful candidates will be asked to provide references from previous employers.
