About The Role
As a Learning Facilitator, you will facilitate the taught elements of the students' experience, guiding their personalized learning journeys, guiding and signposting personal support, assisting with learning strategies, motivating, and helping students build new knowledge, skills, and behaviours independently over time. You will be the goâto person for students, the owner of the students journey, while providing support and guidance to ensure forward momentum and success in completing their program. You will ensure that quality and excellence is a key attribute of all your learner interactions.
In addition, you will coordinate with relevant educational partners to ensure the administrative requirements of the program are met, coordinate with the relevant internal stakeholders to ensure the learner journey is as fulfilling as possible while ensuring all students receive the necessary support to thrive in their learning journey. The role is available to the UK-based candidates (work from home). We are open to accommodating different types of arrangements i.e. fullâtime, partâtime, self employment, flexible hours, fixedâterm etc.

Key Responsibilities
- Group management
- Facilitate the taught elements of the students' experience.
- Oversee students' schedules, providing support and feedback where needed.
- Manage a scheme of work, by way of creating supplementary learning materials and ensuring all materials are kept up to date and follow the latest trends and best practice.
- Maintain the Group Profile by way of group messaging, signposting, safeguarding and reporting.
- Conduct regular standâup and standâdown sessions with students.
Learner management
- Individualise the learner journey for each student and manage Individual Learner Plans for each student where applicable.
- Provide oneâonâone and group support for advanced codingârelated questions via text, video, and screen sharing.
Behaviours
- Encourage student interaction and peer support on Slack.
- Signpost students to code assistance supports and community resources.
Enablement
- Address technical issues in the systems used for student learning (e.g., LMS, Discord, Learnocity etc.).
- Contribute to complimentary learning materials to support the programme the learner is enrolled in.
Qualifications And Experience
- Minimum Qualification in coding equivalent to Level 5 (Full Stack)
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to complete certification in Teaching or Coaching as directed by the line manager
- Teaching qualification would be a great advantage
- Previous experience in coaching, training, teaching or leadership is desirable
- Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology tools used for online instruction.
- Awareness of industry standards and best practices related to teaching and learning in the field of technology, coding, or web development.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environments and requirements, and to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Experience working in a fastâpaced, dynamic environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Proficiency in working with Google Suite tools
Skills
- Inâdepth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, and one of the following Django web framework/React/data analytics: Essential for facilitating the taught elements of the students' experience and providing technical support.
