THE ROLE: Our clients are looking for Technical Architects to join their team.

ABOUT YOU & THE ROLE

As a Technical Architect on the team, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technology, designing and delivering robust solutions based on complex business requirements. You thrive in environments requiring strong technical expertise, commercial thinking, and effective communication, enabling you to engage confidently with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

  • Strong foundation in modern tools, platforms, and software architecture methodologies
  • Proven track record of creating formal solution design documentation
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to translate business needs into technical strategies
  • Clear, confident communication skills tailored for non-technical and technical audiences alike
  • Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), microservices, and API integrations
  • Hands-on knowledge or exposure to cloud platforms (specifically AWS) and hybrid-cloud deployments

SOME THINGS YOU'LL BE WORKING ON

  • Architecting and designing technical solutions for a Complex Systems Integration (SI) programme built on a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solution designs and formal architecture blueprints
  • Integrating new bespoke enterprise systems with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products hosted on AWS hybrid-cloud infrastructure
  • Collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams of engineers and delivery professionals to guide implementation against technical vision
  • Engaging directly with key business and technical stakeholders to evaluate trade-offs, mitigate architectural risks, and align solutions with commercial goals
