About the Role:
The AI Product Manager plays a pivotal role in helping clients understand how AI can transform the way they work. This is a hands‑on delivery role, joining early‑stage conversations with client teams to explore goals, challenges and everyday processes, identifying realistic AI opportunities and translating them into clear, actionable use cases and next steps. You will work closely with solution architects and delivery teams to ensure clients have a clear view of what’s possible now, what comes next, and what they need to build toward. While deep technical expertise is not required, you should have a solid understanding of AI fundamentals and how to apply AI safely and effectively in client environments.
Hybrid working: Work locations will vary by role, needs and business; a blend of company offices, client sites and home, though 100% remote is not an option.
Pre‑employment checks: Identity, nationality (single or double) or immigration status, employment history for 3 continuous years and an unspent criminal record check (Disclosure and Barring Service) may be required if you are successfully offered the position.
What you’ll be doing:
- Support client teams through discovery (jumpstart) and strategy engagements to understand objectives and identify where AI can add value.
- Analyse business processes and define practical AI use cases with measurable outcomes.
- Produce clear discovery outputs, including use case summaries, readiness insights and recommended next steps.
- Collaborate with solution architects to align discovery findings with technical direction and broader offerings.
- Shape delivery plans for Strategy, Packaged AI Solutions and Build‑Run‑Scale engagements.
- Advise clients on adoption needs, capability gaps and next steps for AI progression.
- Maintain structured, repeatable delivery materials and templates.
- Track early value indicators and help clients build confidence in scaling AI solutions.
- Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement of playbooks and delivery guides.
- Work as part of a cross‑functional team to deliver a consistent and trusted discovery experience.
Essential skills (AI ones will be taught through the CFG course):
- Proven experience supporting delivery of digital, data or AI projects with client‑facing responsibilities.
- Strong ability to translate business needs into simple, clear use case descriptions.
- Comfortable facilitating workshops, interviews and structured discovery sessions.
- Good understanding of AI fundamentals and practical considerations for safe and trusted adoption.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and common AI services.
- Excellent communication skills, able to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and skilled at maintaining clarity in documentation.
- Strong collaboration skills across delivery, solution architecture and client teams.
- Proactive, problem‑solving mindset with adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
