Senior C# Developer - .NET Core / SQL / Hybrid

We’re supporting a growing UK-based business that plays a vital role in the supply chain and distribution space. With increased demand and ongoing investment in their tech infrastructure, they’re hiring a Senior C# Developer to join their small in-house team and contribute to the development of critical internal systems.

This is a hands-on role offering variety, influence, and long-term progression. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where your voice matters, and where development work directly impacts day-to-day operations across the business. The company is actively modernising its platforms, moving from older frameworks to .NET Core, and experimenting with newer technologies as they scale.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable applications using C#

• Contribute to system improvements and feature development across the stack

• Collaborate with stakeholders from different departments to gather and refine requirements

• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices are followed

• Support internal tools and backend platforms that underpin operational success

Core Skills Required:

• Proven commercial experience with C# and SQL Server

• Solid understanding of modern software development principles

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

• A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Entity Framework

• Familiarity with Azure, Web APIs, or Blazor

• Background in Agile teams or fast-moving operational environments
