About the Role
This is a high-impact role at the heart of Codat's strategy. As the Product Partnerships Lead, you will be the single owner of our most critical relationships: our platform partners. Our entire business is built upon the health and depth of our integrations with the world's leading ERP and accounting software providers, including Xero, Intuit, Oracle, Microsoft, SAP, and Workday. You will operate as a strategic, individual contributor responsible for defining and executing the partnership roadmap that will secure Codat's position as an indispensable part of the global fintech ecosystem. This is not a commercial partnerships role; it is a deeply strategic, product-adjacent function focused on fostering relational and commercial alignment with complex, enterprise-level organizations. We need an independent, ambitious, and self-driven expert who can navigate large enterprises with ease and operate with a high degree of autonomy.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and Deepen Strategic Relationships: Act as the primary owner for our core platform partners. You will be responsible for constantly improving the health, depth, and strategic value of these foundational relationships, ensuring there is no risk of degradation and continually growing our influence and importance.
- Define the Partnership Roadmap: Collaborate with the executive team to define and execute our product partnership strategy. You will map the ecosystem, identify opportunities, and proactively build a network of key stakeholders within target organizations.
- Strategic Positioning: Position Codat as a trusted, must-have partner within the ecosystem. You will be our ambassador, building consensus and demonstrating the value of deep integration with Codat.
- Ecosystem Intelligence: Serve as the expert on our partners' strategies, product roadmaps, and organizational changes. You will identify and mitigate potential threats and surface strategic opportunities to the executive team.
- Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work closely with partners to navigate shared client challenges, such as supporting our mutual customers through complex onboarding and verification processes.
- Tiering and Management: Evolve and manage our internal partner tiering system, ensuring our resources are aligned with the strategic importance of each partner.
Who You Are
- An Experienced Partnerships Professional: You have experience in product partnerships or strategic alliances, ideally within an at scale SaaS environment. Experience in fintech is required. Account and ERP platform providers preferred.
- An Enterprise Navigator: You are a proven expert at navigating complex, multi-layered enterprise organizations. You can identify key decision-makers, understand their motivations, and build influential relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
- A Strategic & Proactive Operator: You think strategically, see around corners, and proactively drive initiatives forward with minimal oversight. You are comfortable with ambiguity and thrive in an autonomous role.
- An Experienced Negotiator & Communicator: You have a track record of structuring and managing complex agreements. You are an exceptional communicator and presenter, able to build consensus and influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
- Ecosystem-Minded: You have a deep understanding of the dynamics of banking and technology ecosystems. You instinctively know how to build symbiotic, long-term relationships that create mutual value.
- Technically Credible: You excel at translating complex technical concepts into clear strategic and commercial opportunities. You are confident in collaborating in discussions with product and engineering leaders.
