Our Engineers work at the edge of what is scientifically possible, using every advancement in technology to our advantage. Our technology is deployed by our customers to give them an unrivalled ability to wirelessly transmit data over long ranges with high reliability and security. We are well established across multiple markets such as military and defence, uncrewed vehicles such as drones, police and government, and broadcast technology.
At DTC, our engineers enjoy varied roles with real impact across the product lifecycle. This position focuses on fault diagnostics and failure analysis of returned products, playing a key role in improving product reliability and customer experience. You will investigate customer returns, identify faults using structured diagnostic techniques, and analyse trends across multiple units to understand root causes. Rather than component‑level repair, your work will centre on interpreting results, building insight, and feeding that back into Engineering and our manufacturing partners. You will regularly use electronic test equipment such as spectrum analysers, signal generators, and power meters to support your investigations. Previous experience in using this type of equipment is essential. You’ll work closely with Hardware, RF, Manufacturing, and Quality teams, helping to drive continuous improvement in both product design and production processes. RF experience is useful but not essential, and you’ll have the opportunity to build this knowledge as part of your development.

- Knowledge of fault diagnostics and failure analysis techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and summarise technical data.

- RF experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to undergo Security Clearance; employment may commence prior to clearance.
Why Work at DTC:
- Flexible working environment.
- Competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
- World‑class training and development opportunities.
- Opportunity to work on ground‑breaking technology and make a real impact.
