An Introduction to Codal
Codal is an award-winning web design and development consultancy that helps enterprise organizations solve complex problems and accelerate growth through elegant, data-driven digital solutions. Our areas of expertise include application modernization, eCommerce, UX/UI design, product strategy, data analytics, and artificial intelligence. At Codal, you will collaborate with some of the most innovative organizations in the world and work on cutting-edge technologies that push the boundaries of design and software development. We promote long-term success, not just for our clients but for our team, helping you develop a professional roadmap that takes your career to new heights.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Chicago, we specialise in product strategy, experience design, eCommerce, platform engineering, cloud architecture, big data and AI, serving as the premium development partner for enterprise clients. Our marketing team is responsible for driving pipeline across these service lines, working closely with sales and our technology partners to generate and convert demand.
The role
We are looking for a hands-on, commercially minded marketer to own growth activity across the UK. This is an individual contributor role reporting into the Global Head of Marketing. You will have clear ownership of the UK region, running campaigns, supporting partner-led pipelines, improving performance over time, and making sure regional activity connects back to revenue. This is a broad role by design. The UK market is at an earlier stage than the US, which means there is real scope to shape how we show up here. We need someone who is comfortable operating across campaigns, partners, events, and content and can prioritise effectively without being told what to work on first. This position is not a pure strategy role and not a coordination role. We need someone who can take ownership, get things live, learn what works, and improve it over time.
What you will own
- UK GTM execution
- Execute UK-focused campaign activity aligned to global GTM priorities
- Contribute to how we position Codal in the UK market, including messaging, offers and channel mix
- Identify gaps in current UK activity and bring ideas forward
- Localise campaigns and messaging for UK audiences
Partner marketing
- Act as the primary UK marketing contact for partners including Shopify, BigCommerce and others
- Plan and execute co-marketing campaigns, events and content with UK partners
- Leverage US partner activity and relationships to support UK growth
- Identify opportunities to expand partner-led pipeline in the region
CRO and Technical SEO GTM
- Support the launch and UK go-to-market for Codal's CRO and Technical SEO services
- Develop and execute campaigns that build awareness and generate pipeline for these service lines
- Work with sales and leadership to shape positioning, messaging and offers for UK buyers
- Identify the right channels, partners and audiences to reach in-market
Events and field marketing
- Plan and run UK-based events, dinners and trade show activity
- Own follow-up and conversion from events, not just attendance
- Ensure event activity connects back to pipeline
Campaign execution
- Execute campaigns across email, paid, content and partner channels
- Set up and track campaigns correctly in HubSpot, including tagging, UTMs, naming conventions and list management
- Follow through on lead nurture and campaign follow-up
What we are looking for
- 6+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in digital services, agency or consultancy
- Comfortable operating across campaigns, partners, events and optimisation, not just one specialism
- Strong understanding of how marketing contributes to pipeline and revenue
- Experience with HubSpot (or equivalent MAP) and comfortable in Salesforce for pipeline visibility
- Experience with partner or co-marketing campaigns
- Familiarity with Shopify, BigCommerce or similar eCommerce ecosystems is a strong plus
- Strong copywriting across emails, landing pages and campaign messaging
- Commercial mindset: focused on outcomes, not just activity
- Able to operate independently and take ownership of the region
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment
How this role will be measured
- Contribution to UK-influenced pipeline
- Growth of partner-led pipeline and activity in the UK
- Improvement in campaign and website performance over time
- Quality and follow-through of UK campaign and event execution
- Contribution to building a more consistent UK GTM approach
Location and logistics
- UK-based (Lincoln office or remote based out of London)
- Reporting into the Global Head of Marketing
- Not a people management role; you will work closely with a wider team of marketers, designers and the revenue team including sales, partnerships and leadership
