Codal is an award-winning web design and development consultancy that helps enterprise organizations solve complex problems and accelerate growth through elegant, data-driven digital solutions. Our areas of expertise include application modernization, eCommerce, UX/UI design, product strategy, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
At Codal, you will collaborate with some of the most innovative organizations in the world and work on cutting-edge technologies that push the boundaries of design and software development. We promote long-term success, not just for our clients but for our team, helping you develop a professional roadmap that takes your career to new heights.
We're looking for a driven, enterprise-calibre B2B Content Writer to own the voice of Codal across digital and editorial channels. You will be a cornerstone of our content engine shaping how Codal communicates its expertise in complex, regulated industries to sophisticated enterprise buyers. This is not a role for someone who relies on AI to write. We want a writer who thinks deeply, crafts precisely, and produces content that earns trust with technical and executive audiences alike.
You'll work closely with our Global Head of Marketing, Senior Content Strategist and internal subject-matter experts to develop a content strategy grounded in genuine expertise and clear market positioning. Please note this role is remote if you are outside of Lincoln, UK, or in-office if you are located in the Lincoln area. This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
What you'll own:
- Website and digital content (including social media)
- Thought leadership and editorial
- Case studies
- Brand and positioning
- Data and performance
What we're looking for:
- 3-5 years of B2B or enterprise content writing experience, ideally in digital services, technology, agency or consultancy
- Proven background writing for regulated industries: healthcare, financial services, compliance, or similar
- A portfolio that demonstrates range: long-form editorial, web copy, case studies, press releases, thought leadership, and social media.
- Exceptional command of the English language: grammar, structure and nuance, with a strong editorial instinct
- Experience interviewing SMEs and distilling complex technical ideas into compelling, accessible narratives
- Strong project management instincts: able to manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball
- High standards, high output, and the drive to do both at once
What we’re not looking for:
We will not consider candidates who rely on AI-generated drafts as a substitute for original writing. We expect every piece of content to reflect genuine craft, strategic thinking and a thorough understanding of the audience. If your process starts with a prompt box, this role is not for you.
How this role will be measured:
- Quality and consistency of content across website, editorial and campaign assets
- Volume and velocity of case study output, and improvement in time-to-publish
- Contribution to content strategy and editorial planning
- Engagement and performance of content across key channels
We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. Pay range: £33,000 GBP - £42,000 GBP.
Note: Codal only communicates with candidates through official @codal.com email addresses. We never request payment during the hiring process, please be vigilant regarding recruitment scams. At Codal, we are committed to equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
