Our Client in the Utilities sector is seeking a creative and proactive IT Communications Specialist to support the rollout of key data initiatives across the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how they communicate change, improve data literacy, and engage business teams through a variety of formats and platforms. This is likely to start as a part-time engagement (3-6 months) but may be required full time as Data Projects progress. Mainly remote with occasional office visits to some UK offices.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and launch a new SharePoint repository/internal site focused on data initiatives
- Create engaging content including newsletters, podcasts, videos, and interactive communications
- Support change management efforts related to upcoming projects (e.g., ERP implementation, Power BI rollout)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather content and share updates
- Track engagement metrics and continuously improve comms strategy based on feedback
- Help foster a culture of data literacy and transparency
- Previous experience in IT communications and/or change communications preferred
- Strong technical skills, ideally including SharePoint, video/audio editing, and content design (ideally)
- Comfortable working independently and bringing fresh ideas to the table
- A creative storyteller with a passion for communication and engagement
- Ideally experience of working in IT, data, or digital transformation environments
- Ideally experience of working in Global / international organisations.
