Coda Music & Arts Trust is entering an exciting new chapter. Following the transformation of our former Victorian farm site into a thriving destination for music, art and creativity, we're looking for an inspiring Creative Programme Director (Music) to lead the next stage of our music programme. This new part-time role will shape and deliver a dynamic, inclusive programme that inspires creativity, supports learning and wellbeing, and brings people together through music.

Role Description: The Creative Programme Director (Music) is a part-time, on-site role based in Christchurch, Dorset. This role leads the design, planning, and delivery of Coda’s music programmes, ensuring they are inclusive, impactful, and aligned with the organisation’s mission. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing creative music projects and programmes, coordinating schedules, and collaborating with tutors, artists, and partner organisations.

The Director oversees the development of music programmes, maintains quality standards across all outputs, and ensures a consistent artistic vision. The role also involves managing budgets and resources for music programmes, monitoring outcomes and participant feedback, and reporting on progress to leadership and funders. The Director will represent Coda at events and meetings, build relationships within the local arts and community sectors, and contribute to fundraising and outreach activities when needed.

• Experience developing and managing music facilities and musicians
• Devising, managing and delivering successful learning programmes
• Devising, managing and delivering successful health and wellbeing programmes
• Responding to funding opportunities and shaping bids to potential funders

Qualifications: Degree and/or Post Graduate qualification in Music or similar.
