Main Duties and Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Sales & Marketing teams to create a product brief for new products.
- Closely manage new products through the development process by using an effective system to ensure all information is captured, actions agreed & deadlines met.
- Request samples from Operations as required & ensure these are made to agreed deadlines.
- Feedback to Operations as required, detailing & agreeing future samples/actions.
- Work with suppliers to brief on new developments, including but not limited to mould, fitment, carton/primary packaging, outer case & ingredient suppliers.
- Ensure external suppliers meet agreed deadlines for developments.
- Confirm supplier lead times for new developments/ingredients & check any requirements that we need to be aware of, i.e. threats to supply, seasonal availability issues etc.
