CoCo Group is partnering with a Leading London Events Destination to recruit an experienced Senior Event Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile portfolio of major exhibitions. This is a 15-month maternity cover, offering a hands-on, senior role in a fast-paced, world-class events environment.
You’ll take ownership of exhibitions from planning through live delivery, acting as the senior operational lead and trusted client partner. If you thrive on detail, enjoy problem-solving under pressure, and love seeing exhibitions delivered flawlessly, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a portfolio of large-scale exhibitions, acting as single point of contact for clients
- Manage events end-to-end: planning, tenancy, live delivery and post-event reconciliation
- Run client meetings, site visits, operational briefings and live tenancy on-site
- Oversee event documentation, operational plans and health & safety compliance
- Manage budgets, forecasting, POs, cost control and commercial optimisation
- Identify risks, implement contingencies, and champion operational excellence
- Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams
- Lead post-event debriefs, drive improvements and mentor team members
- Senior or supervisory experience in event management
- Strong operational knowledge: build logistics, H&S, multi-tenancy events
- Excellent client management and communication skills
- Solid financial and commercial acumen
- Experience with event management systems (e.g., Momentus)
- Calm, solutions-focused, resilient and adaptable
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends
