Are you a highly skilled Scenic Carpenter with a track record of delivering exceptional work across theatre, immersive experiences, and live environments? We’re working with one of the UK’s most respected creative build studios to find an experienced professional ready to take on exciting new challenges.

From large-scale theatre sets to world-building installations for immersive events, this is an opportunity to work at the cutting edge of scenic construction — where imagination, craftsmanship and collaboration come together.

The Opportunity

Working across a wide variety of projects, you’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team that designs and builds standout environments for major productions and experience clients. Whether in the workshop or on-site, you'll play a vital role in turning bold creative visions into fully realised, physical spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and assemble scenic elements to a high standard using a range of materials and techniques
• Read and interpret complex technical drawings with confidence
• Collaborate closely with designers, project leads, and fellow makers
• Deliver efficient, safe, and high-quality results within tight timelines
• Contribute to a positive workshop culture and support less experienced team members when needed

We’re Looking For

• Extensive experience in scenic carpentry within theatre, immersive, or live environments
• Strong construction skills and a keen eye for quality and detail
• Excellent knowledge of materials, tools, and finishes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger creative team
• Calm, flexible, and solutions-focused under pressure
• Familiarity with CNC, AutoCAD, or other digital fabrication tools
• Experience in site builds, fit-ups, and installations
• Supervisory or team leadership experience
