Are you a natural organiser with a passion for turning bold ideas into physical reality? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days look the same? We’re looking for a Head of Workshop & Logistics to lead operations across a busy, high-performing scenic production workshop.

This is a hands-on, highly visible leadership role — perfect for someone who loves making things happen behind the scenes, ensuring every screw, sheet and truck is in the right place at the right time.

What You’ll Be Doing

As Head of Workshop & Logistics, you’ll be at the heart of everything operational — from scheduling crew and planning material flows, to making sure every truck leaves fully loaded and every build passes quality checks with flying colours. You’ll lead a talented core team (including Workshop Lead, CNC Operator, Van Driver and Safety Coordinator) while keeping close ties with Heads of Department and Project Managers.

  • Strategic scheduling and resource planning
  • Managing calendar, van/truck logistics, and long-term storage
  • Leading workshop and logistics staff and freelancers
  • Coordinating pre-fits, layout and final QC signoffs
  • Ensuring H&S compliance across the space
  • Driving collaboration and preempting bottlenecks
  • Stock and material ordering, control, and usage

This is more than just logistics — it’s about building a culture of precision, safety, and creativity within a team that prides itself on delivering the spectacular.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience leading workshop or production operations — ideally within scenic, fabrication, events or theatrical environments
  • Strong logistical skills: confident juggling trucks, timelines and tools with ease
  • A practical, can-do attitude with a real focus on solutions
  • A collaborative mindset: you’ll be working closely with multiple departments and managing a diverse team
  • An unwavering commitment to safety, quality and getting the job done

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to step into a senior role within one of the UK’s most respected scenic and production companies. You’ll have the chance to lead impactful projects, manage a talented team, and be part of building environments that amaze audiences across live events, immersive experiences and beyond.

Ready to take centre stage behind the scenes? Apply now and let’s build something extraordinary together.
