The Role
You will oversee a diverse portfolio of scenic construction projects, guiding each one through planning, build, and delivery stages. Working closely with designers, workshop teams, and clients, you’ll ensure every project is delivered with technical precision, creative flair, and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects end-to-end, from initial concept to final installation
- Act as the main client contact, nurturing trust and ensuring expectations are exceeded
- Create, refine, and manage quotes, schedules, and project scopes
- Plan and control budgets, timelines, and resources with clarity and confidence
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, driving the team toward deadlines
- Produce detailed technical drawings to support fabrication
- Specify build methods, materials, and construction techniques
- Manage change, track progress, and maintain full project documentation
- Communicate clearly and consistently with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders

- Strong experience managing projects within a workshop or construction-led environment
- Solid understanding of fabrication techniques, construction methodologies, and materials
- Experience of working on projects within Theatre, Theme Parks, Immersive, Brand Experience or Live Events
- Exceptional relationship-building and client-facing skills
- Excellent organisational ability, with confidence managing multiple fast-paced projects
- Commercial awareness and negotiation confidence
- A collaborative team player who isn’t afraid to get hands-on when needed
- Adaptability to evolving specifications, last-minute changes, and creative challenges
