We\'re looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join our busy new Coco & Nut Coffee site in Croydon.
We specialise in breakfast and brunch dishes – from full English breakfasts to pancakes, toasties, and more.
Our kitchen averages around 50 covers per day, so we\'re looking for someone confident working independently, able to manage a breakfast rush, and maintain consistency and quality in every plate served.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast and brunch dishes to a high standard
- Work independently and manage orders during busy periods
- Maintain excellent food presentation and portion control
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and compliance with food hygiene standards
- Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and waste management
- Communicate effectively with front-of-house and management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (breakfast/brunch experience preferred)
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Positive attitude and good communication skills
