The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Promotion and sale of Aftermarket Products and Services, including efficiency upgrades, emissions reductions, green technologies, and upgrading of obsolete equipment as identified. This will cover the full range of Cochran's Products and Services. Provision of quotations for hire boilers.

Main Tasks/Responsibilities

  • This position is field based and will cover an assigned territory within the UK, with some support required for Export opportunities.
  • Interpretation of customer enquiries and production of engineered solutions, and commercial quotation.
  • Provision of quotations for hire boilers.
  • Liaison with existing customers, following up on quotations and existing sales opportunities.
  • Generation of new business opportunities.
  • Liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors as required to meet customer needs.
  • Attending meetings and making site visits as required.
  • Assisting with budgets and forecasting for the department; and ensuring that appropriate quality systems are adhered to.

Skills and Qualities Desirable from Post Holder

  • An Engineering related Apprenticeship/HNC/HND or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of various boiler house systems, processes and equipment.
  • Able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organisational and time management skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • A valid driving licence.
