The Acoustics Account Manager (AAM) – Bone Conduction & Acoustic Implant Solutions is responsible for driving the growth and adoption of Cochlear’s bone conduction and acoustic implant solutions across a defined territory of NHS Trusts and private providers. The role focuses on delivering excellence in account execution, building strong clinical and stakeholder relationships, and achieving agreed commercial objectives while working closely with audiology teams, ENT departments, and internal clinical and commercial colleagues to support service development and optimise patient pathways.

Location: Field‑based role covering accounts within Scotland and Northern England.

What you will do:

  • Develop and execute territory‑level account plans aligned to regional and national strategy.
  • Own territory performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, and delivery of growth targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with audiologists, ENT clinicians, procurement teams, and service leads.
  • Support the optimisation of clinical pathways to improve patient access, service efficiency, and overall experience.
  • Identify opportunities to grow adoption across Baha, Osia, and acoustic upgrade pathways.
  • Use data and market insights to guide decision‑making, monitor performance, and uncover new opportunities.
  • Coordinate and deliver education, training, and support for healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with ABHI Code, GDPR, NHS requirements, and internal governance.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, ensuring accurate activity tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with clinical, surgical, marketing, and commercial teams to support account success.

About You:

  • You bring strong account management and commercial execution capability with the ability to build credibility with NHS stakeholders.
  • You are confident working in a multi‑stakeholder environment and managing competing priorities across a territory.
  • You have a structured and organised approach, with strong planning, forecasting, and CRM discipline.
  • You are proactive, collaborative, and customer‑focused, with a strong commitment to supporting patient outcomes and service development.
  • You are comfortable working closely with clinical teams and supporting pathway improvements at a local level.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or NHS account management (typically 2+ years).
  • Experience managing Trust‑level or multi‑stakeholder accounts.
  • Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound territory planning, forecasting, and pipeline management capability.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Good level of CRM and administrative discipline.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, life sciences, healthcare, audiology, or a related field.
