About the Role
As a Clinical Account Manager, you will be the clinical face of Cochlear within your territory—delivering expert support, training, and guidance to hearing implant centres. You will work closely with surgical and sales teams to grow our customer base, support product rollouts, and ensure the highest standards of clinical care and product usage.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Expand and manage a portfolio of hearing implant centres.
- Drive adoption of Baha, Osia, and Cochlear Implant (CI) technologies.
- Implement strategic plans using Miller Heiman methodology and CRM tools.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews and collaborate with Surgical Account Managers.
- Clinical & Product Support
- Deliver expert audiological support across the full Cochlear product portfolio.
- Provide training and troubleshooting support both remotely and in person.
- Support clinical trials, software installations, and product upgrades.
- Lead workshops and contribute to UK/Ireland audiological and surgical training courses.
- Customer & Market Strategy
- Develop clinic plans and growth strategies for key accounts.
- Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
- Support professional development programs and KOL pipeline development.
- Collaborate with NHS trusts, boards, and procurement teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Team Collaboration
- Engage in regional sales meetings and strategic planning.
- Foster cross-functional teamwork aligned with global strategies and HEAR behaviours.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and internal training.
About You

- Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive practical experience with hearing implants (CI and BCHI).
- Strong Audiological background with post-qualification experience.
- Proven ability to deliver clinical training and presentations.
- Track record of successful sales and account management.
- Excellent interpersonal, time management, and communication skills.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills, coupled with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to leverage data in driving strong commercial decisions.
- Strong Communication Skills, clear, confident, and persuasive communication across clinical and business settings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluent English.
