At Cocentric, we’re scaling Connect – our SaaS platform built to simplify workforce access, provisioning, and digital identity. From automated onboarding to secure SSO and real-time data integrations, Connect is helping frontline organisations empower their people at scale.
We’re looking for a UX Designer to shape the end-to-end experience of the Connect platform. You’ll work with product, engineering, customer insight and architecture – designing intuitive workflows that make complex identity and access processes feel simple for frontline teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact design role for someone who thrives in fast-moving product environments, loves solving real user problems, and is motivated by building a platform used by thousands of employees across a variety of industries.
WHAT YOU WILL DO- Design the Connect platform experience
- User experience and user interface design for key areas of the Connect platform – from user flows and interaction design to prototyping and usability testing.
- Translate complex provisioning, identity and workforce access requirements into simple, intuitive experiences.
- Produce user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI that communicate solutions clearly.
- Work with product lead, clients and wider business stakeholders to shape requirements, define problems, and explore the best experience-led solutions.
- Collaborate across product and engineering
- Partner with software engineers, QA and architects to ensure designs are technically feasible, scalable, and implemented with quality.
- Contribute to the evolution of the Connect design system and ensure consistency across the platform.
- Work closely with customer success and consulting teams to understand real-world usage and pain points.
- User research and insights
- Conduct user interviews, usability tests, and feedback sessions with frontline workers, managers and system admins.
- Turn insights into actionable improvements and validate concepts through iterative testing.
- Advocate for the user and ensure human-centred design is embedded throughout the product development cycle.
- Design quality and delivery
- Prepare design specifications, documentation and assets for engineering handoff.
- Ensure accessibility, clarity and simplicity are built into every part of the product.
- Support continuous iteration of features based on usage data, research and feedback.
- Support wider client projects
- Support the consulting team with UX and UI design for custom development projects.
- Contribute to the design of tailored solutions such as intranets, operational solutions, workflow modules, and partner-specific extensions.
- Work collaboratively with consultants, engineers and team leads to understand client needs and translate them into intuitive designs.
- Produce user journeys, wireframes and prototypes for bespoke implementations while ensuring they align with Cocentric’s design standards.
- Support design reviews, provide assets for build, and ensure a smooth handover into development during custom project delivery.
- Proven experience designing digital products, ideally in SaaS, B2B or complex workflow environments.
- Strong skills in UX design, interaction design and prototyping (Figma preferred).
- Ability to simplify complexity – turning technical requirements into intuitive, user-centric experiences.
- Experience working end-to-end: from discovery and research through to detailed UI and design QA.
- Clear communication skills and confidence collaborating with engineers, product managers and technical stakeholders.
- A portfolio showcasing structured thinking, strong user flows, and high-quality design execution.
- Bonus: experience designing for identity/access management, HR tech, workflow automation, or internal tools.
