We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to help us take things to the next level. You’ll lead, support, and optimise our sales function – from pipeline performance and enablement to leading our brilliant BDR team. WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Team Leadership and Enablement
- Coach and manage a high-performing team of BDRs.
- Set and enforce clear KPIs for outreach activity, pipeline contribution, and conversion.
- Deliver regular training on messaging, product knowledge, and objection handling.
- Lead Generation Strategy
- Develop sales outbound strategy and playbook: segmentation, cadence and personalisation tactics.
- Partner with marketing to align on ICP, campaigns, and event follow-ups.
- Test and refine new prospecting channels (e.g. LinkedIn, email sequences, intent data tools).
- Content Creation
- Develop and iterate cold outreach templates (emails, InMails, call scripts).
- Collaborate with marketing to co-create sales content such as: Persona-driven messaging frameworks, Case study snippets for outbound use, Top-of-funnel assets for BDR outreach.
- Maintain a library of outreach and enablement content.
- Performance Reporting
- Build and own reporting dashboards for BDR activity, conversion rates and pipeline contribution.
- Report weekly / monthly on team performance and lead quality.
- Ensure CRM is clean, up-to-date, and structured for insight and action.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 5+ years’ experience in Business Development and outbound – ideally in a tech, SaaS, or digital environment.
- Proven experience building and managing high-performing BDR or inside sales teams.
- Deep understanding of sales performance metrics, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Expertise in HubSpot – including reporting, automation, and deal management.
- Strong communicator and coach – able to inspire, guide, and challenge a team.
- Commercially minded with strong planning, prioritisation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in employee experience, workplace tech, or HR platforms is a bonus.
