Form part of the Island of Ireland Supply Chain leadership team, delivering excellence in Supply Chain planning. Lead the Supply Planning team to translate and implement Group Planning Strategy in the business unit to improve customer service and reduce cost. To develop the end-to-end planning skills of the supply planning team. Increase company profitability through effective short- and long-term Production and raw material planning implementing best practices leveraging Blue Yonder planning system, capacities planning, cost optimization and inventory management. To embed the appropriate processes, routines and standards to capture optimization opportunities and secure product availability collaborating with demand planning and the supply leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures that all employees have clear direction, accountability and agreed measurable goals and objectives.
  • Focus on constant engagement improvement and team energy level; provides coaching and regular feedback to direct reports.
  • Shares own knowledge with the team and ensures everyone develops their capabilities, promotes training and on the job learning.
  • Manages all required levels of short- and long-term production, raw materials, capacities and haulage planning processes.
  • Managing inventories of FGs, RMs and Concentrates as per SLA.
  • Leads Monthly and Weekly S&OP process from SC planning.
  • Coordinates country SC planning resources, manage own budget as per BP targets.
  • Business Process Leader for Supply Planning Department - oversees, co-ordinates and manages all changes to the planning tools to achieve the needs of the business.
  • Leads yearly Business Planning process in SC Planning and development of monthly RE plans on production, inventory, import-export, haulage and ensures effective communication of plans in the team, Group and BU.
  • Together with Manufacturing and Logistics, ensured continuous improvement of total SC cost and services, maintains inventory at the optimal level, minimizing write offs.
  • Develops working relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the BU and in the Region.
  • Cooperates closely with the Group Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Chain sub-Functions, Commercial, Marketing and Finance Departments to ensure system data integrity, governance and accurate planning results.
  • Support/lead implementation of new tools and process improvement initiative – through Project management PMO ensures timely and as per defined timeline project delivery and related communication.
  • Leading SC Planning related projects within the BU that optimize planning processes and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

  • University degree.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience leading a Supply Chain planning function.
  • 5 -10 years’ experience in supply chain planning roles with an FMCG company.
  • All round knowledge of areas within supply chain and demand planning.
  • Effective communicator and team player.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience leveraging advanced planning tools.

Desired Criteria

  • APICS CPIM certification.
  • Experience within the beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder Planning technology.
