Job summary

Plan and manage a team of Warehouse Operatives on a daily basis to achieve daily workload.

Ensure audit readiness is maintained in the Warehouse at all times, including compliance to all legislation appertaining to Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety and company hygiene standards.

Major duties & responsibilities

  • Manage the daily tasks a team to ensure the Warehouse achieves against planned targets and all relevant KPI’s
  • Manage and understand the WMS system
  • Knowledge and understanding of Shift Manager role and what is required to cover in their absence
  • MHE – Maintaining and charging of batteries
  • Loading – Freezer/Chill/Dry- Loaded correctly and on time
  • QIP – Making sure that the shift follow QIP guidelines and that daily paperwork complete. Raising product issues with the Quality manager
  • To work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
  • To ensure all cages picked and loaded meet MBUK standards
  • To manage the work area to ensure clean and tidy at all times
  • To maintain high levels of Health and Safety standards
  • To achieve the targets and job standards set out by management
  • To be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work
  • To perform any reasonable request from Management

  • 2+ years of related work experience
  • Previous management experience in a similar FMCG operation
  • Previous experience of MS computer packages to intermediate level
