Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Shift Manager, you will support the day-to-day operation of a busy warehouse environment by coordinating activities across shift teams, ensuring service, safety, quality, and productivity goals are achieved. Working closely with colleagues across the operation, you will help develop team capability, encourage continuous improvement, and create a positive working environment where everyone can perform at their best.
What You'll Do:
- Support and coordinate warehouse shift activities to deliver service, productivity, safety, and quality objectives.
- Develop and coach team members, ensuring colleagues have the training, resources, and support needed to perform their roles confidently.
- Collaborate with operational leaders and neighbouring shifts to ensure effective planning, communication, and smooth handovers.
- Monitor staffing levels, labour utilisation, and workflow requirements to help meet operational demands efficiently.
- Foster a culture of open communication through team briefings, regular feedback, and inclusive discussions.
- Promote compliance with health, safety, food hygiene, and employment practices while supporting the wellbeing of all colleagues.
