Position Summary

This role is responsible for leading and coordinating a team of Warehouse Operatives to ensure daily workloads, performance targets, and key operational KPIs are achieved. The position requires maintaining audit readiness at all times, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Employment Law, Food Safety, and company hygiene standards. It also involves supporting operational continuity by briefing Team Leaders and providing cover for Shift Managers during holidays and absences.

Key responsibilities include managing warehouse operations through effective use of the Warehouse Management System (WMS), overseeing loading activities across freezer, chill, and dry areas, and ensuring all processes meet quality and company standards. The role also requires maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment, ensuring compliance with QIP procedures, managing equipment such as MHE batteries, achieving performance targets, and working flexibly to support business needs and management requests.
