Location: London, United Kingdom. We are looking for a highly skilled SAP MDG Consultant with significant technical skills in SAP MDG and data governance acumen to join our team in Coca-Cola Hellenic Digital & Technology Platform Services (DTPS) and be part of the Data Management team. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the design, development and implementation of our Enterprise Data Governance strategy, delivering data governance solutions within the Company System Landscape in collaboration with business and IT teams. Candidate in this role should have hands‑on knowledge in SAP MDG and/or MDG Specific ABAP technologies with focus on MDG Material and Finance master data objects.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaborate with CCH Product Managers and Architects across different IT (DTPS) and other cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and provide architectural guidance for MDG projects and solutions.
- Manage and complete successful projects as a team member and demonstrate business process knowledge in data migration, governance, developments and testing.
- Contribute to the projects at different phases including discovery, solution generation, design, implementation and detailing of the overall process.
- Understand business requirements and convert into clearly documented technical requirements to build solutions, following the agreed guidelines, standards and rules.
- Configure and customize SAP MDG to meet business requirements related to master data management.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data solutions, including data models, data flows, and technical specifications.
- Work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, including researching and applying OSS notes if required.
- Stay up to date with the latest data governance tools, best practices, and provide recommendations for their adoption.
- Lead and guide SAP MDG/ABAP developers and data engineers (internal or from vendors), providing guidance and support in Master Data Governance principles and techniques.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for Master Data Governance solutions.
- Apply configuration of SAP Master Data objects in SAP MDG & S/4, configuration of rule‑based workflows in SAP MDG, Governance models and BRF+, configuration of mass maintenance solutions in SAP MDG.
- Follow-up and support SAP Development work and system integrations with other SAP and non‑SAP systems.
- Write BPD, FDD, TSD’s for the implemented solutions.
- Experience within SAP S/4, MDG, Fiori, ABAP, Workflow, BRF+, SOA services, BADI’s, mass maintenance solutions.
- Experience in MDG Consolidation process and data validation services via MDQ is an advantage.
- Experience working with functional areas like SAP CRM, SD, PTP from the master data standpoint.
- Define Replication model (inbound/outbound) & BADI usage for SOA services and SOA manager Configurations.
- Configure and Extend MDG workflows to automate data validation, derivations, approvals, and Change management processes.
- Experience / Knowledge in Cutover activities / E2E integration testing.
- Configuration, debugging, and testing of the MDG application and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration with other systems.
- Experience with SAP MD object tables, data migrations and data quality validations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of experience with key SAP S/4 master data objects, master data and data quality management.
- Understanding of Agile methodology and SAFe Agile is appreciated.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to present analytics findings to various business teams.
- SAP MDG certification, such as "SAP Certified Associate - SAP Master Data Governance", is a plus.
- Fluent English communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to interact with stakeholders.
